Your mission

Are you an analytical and proactive financial professional eager to make a real impact? Do you thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment where financial insights drive strategic decisions? Then we are looking for you as our Business Controller!

In this role, you will focus on strategic financial insights, forecasting, and supporting our growth. You will be the financial sparring partner of the CFO and collaborate closely with the Financial Controller.

What You Will Do
  • Advise the CFO and management team on scalable and sustainable financial strategies.
  • Prepare and monitor financial and business analyses to support our company growth.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards and KPI reports that drive business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare business cases for strategic investments and expansion plans.
  • Contribute to the digitalization and automation of financial processes.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to strengthen financial reporting and analysis.
  • Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and financial target monitoring.
  • Monitor completeness of invoicing subscriptions and projects (hours).
  • Manage cash flow and financial controls.

Your profile

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Business Controlling, or a similar role.
  • Experience in start-up/scale-up tech companies or having a scale-up mindset is a strong plus; affinity with technology is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with Power BI and/or other data analysis tools is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial insights into clear, strategic advice.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
  • Dutch fluency is a must!
